We offer a range of consulting and advising services. We are able to offer focused and personalized services to a wide and varied customer base because since the 1990's, we have developed several strong affiliations and partnerships with world-class professional companies and organizations. We believe that involvement across this spectrum of customers and collaborators adds value in the sense that we gain greater insights into the financial industry and market conditions and can serve each participant better. We specialize in managing portfolios, education in the area of investments, and in assisting in the research goals of our affiliates.

Jennifer Magala is the administrative assistant at Pearl Quest. She is responsible for ensuring that the office and its activities operate efficiently.

Kathryn Wilkens-Christopher, Ph.D., CAIA, is the president and founder of Pearl Quest LLC providing a host of investment, research, operational and educational services for firms and individuals. She is also an online professor for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she teaches investments, financial modeling and international finance from South Florida. In addition, she is an assistant editor for the Journal of Alternative Investments, the official journal of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts (CAIA) Association and a research associate with the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets. She earned a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst focusing her studies on predictability and dynamic asset allocation.

Her professional memberships include the Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst Association (CAIA), the Financial Management Association (FMA), National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA Broward Chapter), Women in ETFs and the Chicago Quantitative Investment Alliance. She is also a member of the Tower Club of Fort Lauderdale and the Chamber of Commerce at Dania Beach, FL, and as semi-professional turned amateur figure skater, member of the Pembroke Pines Figure Skating Club.

Beginning as an assistant professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, she has a long history of advancing research and education in the alternative investment space. She served on the advisory board of the Chartered Alternative Investment Association from 2002-2005 and established an educational software company to support CAIA exam candidates in 2002. She sold her company’s operations to Institutional Investors, Inc. and joined CAIA as its full time director of curriculum in 2007. There, she produced the first full set of internally developed textbooks for their educational program. Over the years she has published several journal articles and book chapters on investments.
